Chocolate Covered Oreo
Chocolate Covered Oreo
Christmas Season is almost here. I was thinking of something that I can give as a Christmas gift. This time I wanted it something special. So I thought of some easy but cute and yummy treats. Just look at that picture, seriously they are too pretty to eat.
This is what you'll need:
Double stuffed oreo
Chocolate Melts ( I used Cadbury)
Silicone Muffin mould
Procedure:
Step 1: Melt your chocolate melts in the microwave. Put few candy melts in a microwave safe bowl only for 30 seconds. Take out the bowl, stir and put it back for another 30 seconds. Keep repeating until the chocolate is melted but be sure not to overheat it will burn the chocolate.
Step 2: Spoon some melted chocolate into your muffin mould about 1/4 of the
way to full. Place your oreo cookies into the chocolate and press down
until the top of the oreo is level and just a bit lower than the top
mould.
Spoon more chocolate over the cookie until it is covered with chocolate. Tap the mould against the kitchen counter top to make sure all air
bubbles are removed.
Note: I only fill the muffin moulder half way because its a big and it will make too thick and hard to bite.
Step 3: After filling each of the cookie mould with an oreo and chocolate, place
the mould in the fridge for 15-20 minutes or until the chocolate has
firmed up.
Turn the mould over and pop out each chocolate covered cookie.
Your all done. Use your creativity to make designs. I use a flower
silicone mould to make my flower design.
