Low Carb and Gluten Free Brownies Low carb chocolate brownie is light and crumbly topped with whatever you want, You can topped it with salt flakes or nuts.  The definition of brownies is "a flat baked dessert square" but overtime people think of a square sliced that is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and possibly with chocolate chips and nuts. These low carb brownies goes back to its original flat baked dessert idea.  Brownies are typically eaten with cream, but personally I like brownies that are topped with chocolate chips and nuts.  The chocolate: I used cacao powder, but a dutch processed cocoa powder will work the same.  The Flour:  The recipe uses Almond flour, I dont think substitution will work, you can try subbing it with almond meal.  The sweetener: On the first trial I used stevia, but didnt work great with the chocolate, It has a funky aftertaste. I used Swerve.  You can use coconut sugar or maple syrup
